Description Waste Area Worker - SparksThe Job Purpose of Waste Area Worker is to support the Waste Management Area under the direction of an Operator II or Supervisor.
As a Waste Area Worker, duties will include handling boxes, jugs and other materials associated with manufacturing operations.
Compliance with site conduct, safety, security & environmental protection rules.
Adhere to quality and productivity standards.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
? Various duties in support of formulation & packaging operations including containers of materials, pallets, trash, and other non-hazardous Waste products.
? Operate Forklift to move materials.
? Operate various equipment in process of handling the Waste processes.
? Maintain good housekeeping standards.
? Regular lifting and handling of material.
? Adhere to quality and productivity standards.
Required
Qualifications:
? High School Diploma or equivalent.
? Though this is primarily a Daytime position, At times a short term 2nd shift is necessary for short periods of time during high demand months.
Must be willing to work evening shifts and weekends if necessary.
? Successful background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen required.
? Must adhere to high safety and quality standards.
? Demonstrated ability to understand and carry out instructions and training received.
? Demonstrated ability to comprehend basic arithmetic functions.
? Ability to lift at a minimum 50 lbs.
? Ability to pass all required medical evaluations which may include respirator clearance (if needed) and Mobile Equipment Operation.

7am-5pm then Friday 7am 3pm.
Sparks is currently offering retention bonus 250.
00 after initial 30 days and another 250.
00 after additional 60 days (90 days from start).
HS Diploma or GED required.
