You will ensure product availability at defined locations based on demand and local inventory targets; be responsible for maintaining proper and cost-efficient inventory levels while utilizing defined supply chain processes (e.
g.
, safety stock setting, stocking strategies).
In addition, you will interact with Customer Care to provide status on customer orders and manage the backorder and allocation processes.
As a Supply Chain Planner, you create chemistry by Interacting with various business units to perform business critical tasks including, but not limited to, raw material ordering and interaction on dysfunctional inventory to meet targets and working capital.
Leading the Supply Reviews (Site Operational Planning Meetings) for third-party tolling locations.
Managing inventory levels in SAP System to support targets and achieve desired customer service levels.
Scheduling production and communicate accordingly with third-party locations, and order raw materials to meet plan.
Your formula for success Professional background in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Operations, or a related field with relevant, hands-on experience in scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with material planning processes, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
Proficiency in SAP is preferred, ability to learn SAP is required.
High attention to detail with solid problem-solving, analytical skills and a data-driven approach to make crucial decisions based on inventory and sales requirements.
Effective communication skills in interacting with all levels of the organization and in a cross-functional environment.
